Critical Vulnerability in Excel Allows Arbitrary Code

A new vulnerability in Microsoft Excel could allow an intruder to launch arbitrary code on an unsuspecting user's system. The vulnerability reportedly affects Excel 2003 with the most recent patches and Microsoft Office service pack. Microsoft is aware of the problem; however, no patch is available at this time.
