cloudbakers Cooks Up Business Process Partnership

cloudbakers_0Google Apps integrator and provider cloudbakers has formed a partnership with RunMyProcess to add process-based cloud applications and integration to its business services offerings. RunMyProcess provides integration capabilities for Google Apps and other applications such as Zoho CRM and Creator, and Salesforce.com.

The new partnership is designed to give small businesses (cloudbakers customers range from 15 employees to 1500) the ability to run cross-platform, process-based apps in the cloud without the need for on-premise infrastructure, and to enhance Google Apps by adding workflow and integration.

“Quite often, Google might fall short in workflow and integration,” said Mitch Greenwald, founder of cloudbakers. “It’s not their focus. This helps bridge that gap.”

The RunMyProcess platform is accessible from any device, on a subscription-based model aimed at reducing enterprises’ reliance on infrastructure, security and upgrade costs.

“The RunMyProcess platform can help reduce costs by helping to ensure that tasks and assignments don’t fall through the cracks,” Greenwald said.

Chicago-based cloudbakers has several dozen customers in the Midwest, Greenwald said, ranging from hospitals to call centers to logistics companies. He started the company after long career in tech and a stint as an enterprise CIO. He called his company’s platform “a very generic tool” that can be applied to everything from call centers to lead tracking.

“Anywhere you have workflow, you can use it,” he said. “We really are experts in helping people migrate to the Google Apps platform.”
