Catalog Your Movies

Bolide Software announced All My Movies 3.0, an easy-to-use utility for cataloguing your movie collection. All My Movies gives you a tree-like database structure in which you can quickly sort your movies according to various criteria. You can capture screenshots from DVDs and AVI files and attach them to the database, and you can add user comments. The software supports all formats, both new (e.g., DVD, Video CD, AVI, MPEG files) and old (e.g., VHS tapes)—but it's specifically designed for DVDs and works automatically with all digital carriers.

To get going with All My Movies, you need only insert a DVD or scan a hard disk. The program extracts all movie information, such as title, director, actors, description, genre, languages, subtitles, and so on. If this information is absent, the software can import it from online movie databases such as IMDb.com. Movie data stored with All My Movies 3.0 can be exported to HTML, Microsoft Excel, or plain-text files. All My Movies 3.0 costs $29.95 and is distributed electronically over the Internet. For a free demo version, go to Bolide Software's Web site.
