Add an AutoCorrect entry to correct typos and misspellings

If there is a word you commonly misspell, or that comes out wrong because of your typing, add it to the AutoCorrect list so that Word can fix your mistakes for you.

  1. Choose Tools → AutoCorrect Options and select the AutoCorrect tab
  2. Enter the incorrect text in the Replace box.
  3. Enter the correct text in the With box.
  4. Click Add

  • No HTML tags allowed.
  • Web page addresses and e-mail addresses turn into links automatically.
  • Lines and paragraphs break automatically.
