Locating apps designed to work with the Microsoft Band used take a herculean effort. So much so, that we developed the Band Apps by Platform page. As Microsoft, it seems, has gotten extra serious in supported its surprisingly successful wearable device with a hardware redesign in the second version, it is also getting more serious about supporting Band v2 in the Windows 10 ecosystem.
Now, when you search for ‘Microsoft Band’ in the Windows 10 universal app store, you’re presented with a special product page (including a link to buy a Band from the Microsoft online store) that is littered with apps designed to work with the Microsoft Band. And, guess what, the Band app list appears to be growing again as there are a few Band apps I’ve never seen before.
