How many tags can an Azure resource have?

Q. If I use tags in Azure how many can a resource have?

A. Each resource or resource group can have up to 15 tags with each tag being up to 512 characters which is not case sensitive then the values can be up to 256 characters and are case sensitive. More information on tags can be found at https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/azure/dn848368.aspx.
