I set up a resource mailbox, but when I try to use Outlook Web Access (OWA) 2000 to use the mailbox to book a meeting, the meeting request sits idle. Does resource booking work with OWA 2000?
Direct resource booking is an Outlook feature, not an Exchange feature. Outlook must verify that the resource object is a resource, ensure that the resource is available, open the resource mailbox's calendar folder, and make an appointment at the requested time. By default, OWA 2000 can't perform these steps. If you need this functionality, consider using exchangecode's AutoAccept script at http://www.exchangecode.com.
