JSI Tip 6899. The area behind the icon text is a solid color when I change desktop wallpaper in Windows XP?

When you change desktop wallpaper in Windows XP, the area behind the icon text is a solid color. Transparency has been lost?

To resolve this issue:

1. Right-click My Computer and press Properties.

2. Select the Advanced tab.

3. In the Performance area, press the Settings button.

4. Check the Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop box.

5. Press Apply and OK.
