JSI Tip 3313. Do NOT uninstall any 56-bit hotfixes after you install the 128-bit (High Encryption) Pack?

If you uninstall a Windows 2000 56-bit hotfix, after you install the Hiigh Encrytion Pack, the wrong version of some files may be placed in the uninstall folder. If you subsequently uninstall a service pack, you will definitely have stability and functionality problems.

NOTE: To determine your encryption level, open Internet Explorer and press Help / About Internet Explorer. The cipher strength is listed.
