Trends in Virtualization and Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 - 29 Dec 2010

This whitepaper summarizes the results of a recent survey of 156 respondents responsible for the Microsoft Exchange email and messaging infrastructure in firms with 500 or more employees.  Commissioned by Ziff Davis Enterprise (ZDE) and NetApp, this study provides an overview of current virtualization trends, including plans to deploy and virtualize IT infrastructure for Microsoft Exchange Server 2010.  In addition, the study describes the top benefits these organizations are looking to achieve with virtualized Exchange environments and the key challenges that they will be addressing with this new server and storage infrastructure.
