Q. Where are the advanced and custom document properties options in Office 2010?

A. After upgrading to Office 2010, I wanted to update and modify some custom properties of my document, but I couldn't find them.

You can edit the basic properties of a document in the File tab in the Properties pane, as shown here.

To access the other properties, click the Properties menu in the Properties pane and select Advanced Properties. Note that you can also select the Show Document Panel option, which opens the document properties above the document content (like Office 2007). This panel also has advanced property access.
