When you use Tools / Internet Options and select the Advanced tab, no options are displayed under Settings.
This behavior will occur if the following registry sub-key, or some of its' sub-key or entries, are missing:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\AdvancedOptions
To fix this problem:
1. Open a CMD.EXE window.
2. Type the following command and press Enter:
regsvr32 /n /i /s inetcpl.cpl
