JSI Tip 8406. Freeware DelTempFiles.exe.

Harry Bates ([email protected]), brings us DelTempFiles.zip. Unzip the archive to DelTempFiles.exe and use it in a Startup or Shutdown script.

DelTempFiles.exe deletes all the file and folders at:

1. %SYSTEMROOT%\TEMP.

2. If %SYSTEMDRIVE%\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS exists, it deletes all the files and folders from every User Name at %SYSTEMDRIVE%\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS\\LOCAL SETTINGS\TEMP.

3. If %SYSTEMROOT%\PROFILES exists, it deletes all the files and folders from every User Name at %SYSTEMROOT%\PROFILES\\LOCAL SETTINGS\TEMP.

NOTE: You can use Group Policy to assign the Startup or Shutdown script.

NOTE: You can also include DELTREE "%TEMP%" in the Startup or Shutdown script.
