The subject behavior will occur if any of the following are true:
- One or more Windows Media Player files are missing or corrupted.
- The media file you are attempting to play is damaged.
- The format of the media file you are trying to play is NOT supported.
- The media file you are attempting to play uses a codec which is NOT installed.
- The media file you are attempting to play uses a codec which is NOT supported.
