JSI Tip 7424. How do I identify an installation that was created using the Windows 2000 version of the System Preparation (Sysprep) tool?

To determine if WIndows 2000 was installed using the Windows 2000 version of Sysprep:

1. Sysprep creates the CloneTag Value Name at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\Setup, which records the date and time the image was prepared for duplication.

2. If the cmdline Value Name at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\Setup contains Setup -newsetup -mini., Sysprep was used.

3. If %SystemRoot%\System32\Setupcl.exe exists, Syspep used it to change the SIDs on the system.
