JSI Tip 6971. How can I prevent Windows Messenger from being installed for new users?

I first addressed disabling Windows Messenger in tip 5714 and tip 4858.

If you wish to remove Windows Messenger for security reasons:

1. Use the Registry Editor to navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Active Setup\Installed Components\\{5945c046-1e7d-11d1-bc44-00c04fd912be\}.

2. Delete the \{5945c046-1e7d-11d1-bc44-00c04fd912be\} sub-key.

NOTE: When you delete this sub-key, Windows Messenger is NOT installed for new users because the msmsgs.inf file is NOT run.
