JSI Tip 6655. Scheduled Tasks do NOT run unless someone is logged onto the console?

If your computer exhibits the subject behavior, the following procedure has always corrected this behavior for me:

1, Delete every scheduled job.

2. Apply or re-apply the latest services pack for your operating system.

3. Re-apply and post service pack hotfixes that were installed.

4. Re-create the scheduled tasks.

NOTE: See Windows XP SP1 Scheduled Tasks do not run and the Scheduled Tasks Log contains exit code 80 (ERROR_WAIT_NO_CHILDREN)?
