JSI Tip 6496. Lotus Notes Single Logon service can cause difficulty with connecting to a Terminal Server?

If you have the Lotus Notes Single Logon service installed, when you connect to a Terminal Server you may experience any of the following:

- Only a blue background appears when you log on.

- The keyboard is NOT functional, but the mouse works.

- You may receive:

The client could not connect to the Terminal server. The server may be too busy. Please try connecting later.

- The System Event log may contain:

Event ID: 34
Source: TermService
Description: \{Access Denied\} A process has requested access to an object, but has not been granted those access rights.

Use CTL+ALT+DEL to log off the Terminal Services account.
