When you use a remote Terminal Server client to perform Disk Management tasks on a Windows 200x server, you may experience any of the following:
- When you change a drive letter, the change is NOT immediately visible.
- When you create or remove a partition, the label, as viewed in drive Properties, is inaccurate, and the new partition may report 0 bytes.
- When you view a Cluster Server and failover occurs, the drive letter may be ? or you can't access it.
To workaround these problem, log off after your change a drive letter from a remote Terminal Server client and log back on.
