When you configure a new Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server in your Windows 2000 domain, the MMC displays a message indicating that your DHCP server is not authorized in Active Directory?
After configuring a DHCP server, it may take 30 seconds or longer to update Active Directory.
To workaround this feature, wait 30 seconds and press F5 to refresh the MMC.
