Microsoft Windows products do NOT support IEEE 1394 bridging.
The IEEE 1394 driver stack does NOT support 1394 bridge devices nor does it support bridging multiple 1394 buses.
All local bus operations us the 0x3FF bus ID, per the IEEE 1394-1995 specification.
If you have a hardware configuration where multiple 1394 buses are joined (bridged), Microsoft does NOT guarantee that 1394 devices attached to either side of the bridge will behave the same as devices attached to the local 1394 bus.
Microsoft may include this feature in a future release.
