If you are watching a DVD movie, in Windows XP, and a 3D screen saver activates, you may only hear the audio portion, or loose the entire playback, when you resume from the screen saver?
To prevent you from having to exit Windows Media Player and restarting it, prevent the screen saver from activating during DVD playback:
1. Start Windows Media Player.
2. Press Tools / Options.
3. Select the Player tab.
4. Clear the Allow screen saver during playback box.
5. Press Apply and OK.
6. Exit Windows Media Player and restart it.
