JSI Tip 4157. The Add/Remove Programs tool displays as multiple dialog boxes?

If those tips DO NOT correct your problem, it is likely that your Control Panel has become corrupted.

To fix this problem, perform an in-place upgrade:

1. Mount the Windows 2000 installation CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive.

2. On the Welcome to Windows 2000 Setup Wizard page, Press Install Windows 2000.

3. Select Upgrade to Windows 2000 (Recommended).

4. Follow the on-screen instructions.
