JSI Tip 3770. Errors 2351 and 2355 when installing software from a CD-ROM?

When the Windows Installer Setup engine is started from a CD-ROM, you receive:

Internal Error 2351 

Internal Error 2355.

If you ignore the error, your software will probably malfunction.

The problem is the result of the Windows Installer not properly extracting files from a .CAB file.

Microsoft has included the fix in Service Pack 2.
