In tip 3536, I described how you could use the Windows 2000 Manage tool to manage a remote Windows 2000 computer.
Jeffrey W. Horning points out that you can invoke the Computer Management snap-in from the command line:
compmgmt.msc \[/computer=<COMPUTER NAME>\]
Jeffrey also developed a freeware utility, RCOMPMGMT.EXE, which will prompt you for a computer name and then invoke the snap-in, on the local or remote computer.
