JSI Tip 3537. System Monitor sometimes displays vertical lines?

System Monitor, Sysmon.exe, is the Windows 2000 Performance Monitor.

When using the Chart view, System Monitor only displays 100 data points. If more than 100 data points have to be displayed, Symon samples the data points and creates a 'bucket' of the minimum, average, and maximum values, which it displays as a vertical line.

There is no way to disable the vertical line display, even though they might make it difficult to interpret the curve and to compare the behavior of two counters whose curves are in close proximity.
