JSI Tip 3453. Where is the redirector in Windows 2000?

If you configured custom values for the Windows NT redirector, you were probably surprised to find that HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Rdr is missing from the Windows 2000 registry.

The Rdr subkey contains configuration data for the Windows 2000 redirector (Rdr) service, but by default, the subkey and values do not appear in the registry.

If you need to customize the redirector, you can add the subkey and custom value entries to the registry.
