JSI Tip 3081. NetWare 5 'Contextless Login' is NOT supported with GSNW or CSNW in Windows 2000?

GSNW or CSNW where written before Netware 5 was released.

The 'Contextless login' allows a Netware 5 user the ability to NOT specify a context before logging on. Netware 5 uses the NDS catalog to do a global search for the user's context.

You can implement 'Contextless login' in Windows 2000 by using the Novell Client for Windows 2000.

Using GSNW or CSNW, you can't start the NetWare Application Launcher (NAL).

The DISPLAY or FDISPLAY command is not supported in GSNW or CSNW.
