Running the Readiness Analyser, chkupgrd.exe, on W9x, you may experience the utility quitting before generating a report.
If you computer dual boots with Windows NT 4.0 or Windows 2000, the Readiness Analyser will quit before finishing?
To resolve the problem, Run winnt32 /checkupgradeonly from the Windows 2000 Professional CD-ROM.
Upgrading W9x on a dual-boot computer is blocked by Setup. You must remove the other operating system before upgrading, so you might want to remove the dual-boot before running the tool.
