JSI Tip 2912. How do you run Outlook 97 on Windows 2000 as an ordinary user?

When an ordinary user tries to run Outlook 97 on their Windows 2000 platform, the may receive:

To run Outlook 97, you must have permission to write and modify the following registry key:


Logon as a member of the Administrators group and use Regedt32 to navigate to:


On the Security / Permissions menu, Add the local Users group or the Domain Users group. Grant the group Full Control.
