JSI Tip 2836. How do the transition effects work in Windows 2000?

Transition effects work when you press the Start menu and when you open the next menu. Subsequent menus do not exhibit the transition effect.

To enable transition effects:

1. Right-click a blank area of the desktop and press Properties.

2. Select the Effects tab.

3. Check the Use transition effects for menus and tooltips box.

4. Select Fade effect or Scroll effect.

5. Press OK.
