JSI Tip 2415. Windows 2000 hides keyboard navigation indicators by default.

Windows 2000 hides keyboard shortcut keys in menus and dialogues.

You can press the ALT key to display them.

You can also change the default at Start / Settings / Control Panel / Display / Effects by clearing the Hide keyboard navigation indicators until I use the Alt key box and pressing OK.
