The follwing groups are available:

microsoft.public.win2000.enable

Questions about making Windows 2000 easier to use for individuals who have
difficulty typing or using a mouse, have moderately impaired vision or are
deaf or hard-of-hearing.

microsoft.public.win2000.active_directory

The Active_Directory group is for the discussion of Directory Services and
User Management.

microsoft.public.win2000.advanced_server

The Advanced_Server group is for the discussion of the Advanced Server
product including cluster services.

microsoft.public.win2000.applications

The Applications group is for the discussion of 16 and 32 bit applications,
including NetDDE and OLE.

microsoft.public.win2000.developer

The developer group is for the discussion of developing applications for
Windows 2000.

microsoft.public.win2000.dns

The DNS group is for the discussion of the Domain Name system.

microsoft.public.win2000.fax

The FAX group is for the discussion of Faxing to or from Windows 2000.

microsoft.public.win2000.file_system

The File_System group is for the discussion of file systems, Distributed
File System (DFS), disk quotas, mirrors, file compression, file encryption,
stripe sets, backups and other forms of fault tolerance.

microsoft.public.win2000.games

The Games group is for the discussion of playing and installing games on
Windows 2000.

microsoft.public.win2000.general

The general group is for discussions not appropriate for other groups. Please
post to the most appropriate group for the best results.

microsoft.public.win2000.group_policy

The Group_Policy group is for the discussion of implementing and modifying
Group Policies on Windows 2000.

microsoft.public.win2000.hardware

The Hardware group is for the discussion of hardware and driver support for
Windows 2000 including Power Management and ACPI issues.

The Macintosh group is for the discussion of Services for Macintosh
including service install, connectivity, printing and the AppleTalk protocol

The multimedia group is for the discussion of multimedia hardware and
software on Windows 2000, including DVD software and hardware decoders.

The Netware group is for the discussion of the interoperability between
Windows 2000 and Novell NetWare.

microsoft.public.win2000.networking

The Networking group is for the discussion of networking and Windows 2000,
including Windows Load Balancing and IPSEC and all Windows networking
protocols.

The New_User group is for discussions relating to users who are new to or
unfamiliar with Windows 2000.

microsoft.public.win2000.printing

The Printing group is for the discussion of all printing issues except for
Macintosh printing.

The RAS_Routing group is for the discussion of Remote Access and Routing
issues, including PPTP and L2TP.

including modification, permissions, and remote manipulation of the
registry.

The security group is for the discussion of security issues in Windows 2000.

The Setup group is for the discussion of setup and installation issues.

microsoft.public.win2000.setup_deployment

The Setup_Deployment group is for the discussion of large-scale deployments
of Windows 2000, including cloning and unattended installations.

microsoft.public.win2000.setup_upgrade

The Setup_Upgrade group is for the discussion of upgrading to Windows 2000
from other operating systems.

microsoft.public.win2000.termserv.apps

The Terminal_Server_Applications group is for the discussion of application
installation and operation with Terminal Services enabled as an Application
Server.

microsoft.public.win2000.termserv.clients

The TermServ_Clients group is for the discussion of all aspects of clients
for Terminal Server, including connectivity and functionality.

microsoft.public.win2000.windows_update

The WindowsUpdate group is for the discussion of the Windows Update site for
Windows 2000.
