If your Radio toolbar is missing, after you uninstall Internet Explorer 5.01, it is
due to Msdxm.ocx becoming unregistered during the uninstall.
To fix the problem:
1. Start / Run / regsvr32 msdxm.ocx.
2. Click OK and OK to complete the registration.
3. Exist IE (or restart your computer).
NOTE: You may find the Always show Internet Explorer Radio bar option
is missing from Tools / Internet Options / Advanced / Multimedia because
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\AdvancedOptions\Multimedia\Radio
was removed during the uninstall. Reinstall
Microsoft Windows Media Player 6.4
to recreate it. Alternately, you can recreate the key and values using Regedt32 to add the Radio key.
Select the Radio key and Add Value the following type REG_SZ value names:
CheckedValue Data: Yes DefaultValue Data: No RegPath Data: SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Radio\Settings Text Data: Always show Internet Explorer Radio bar toolbar Type Data: Checkbox UncheckedValue Data: No ValueName Data: AlwaysShowRadio
