If you receive:
STOP 0xC0000263 Driver Entry Point Not Found \SystemRoot\system32\drivers\<driver name>
when you boot your computer, you probably have a version mismatch between the kernel and the <driver name>.
You can use your ERD to replace system files (only) and reapply your latest service pack or you can install an alternate instance of Windows NT, upgrade it to your current service pack, and copy the driver to your original install.
NOTE: Using an alternate install is the prefered method, as the ERD will copy the original files from your CD-ROM, which may still leave your computer unbootable.
NOTE: Tip 1799 contains a procedure for using an alternate install.
