DupFinder is a new tool that is included in Supplement 4 of the Windows NT 4.0 Server Resource kit.
This GUI tool allows you to find files with duplicate names on your hard drive or a floppy disk. The duplicates are placed in a list where you can sort them, view additional information about them, rename them, delete them, or move them. Popup menus and in-place name editing are enabled as in Windows Explorer. You can limit your search for duplicates to specific directories and file types and you can optionally include read-only and hidden files. A printed report of the results is available.
