JSI Tip 1482. How can I prevent static WINS records from replicating?

To prevent static WINS records from replicating:

1. Configure every WINS Server to Replicate Only with Partners, using the Advanced tab of the WINS Server Configuration tool.

2. Use Regedt32, on every WINS Server, to navigate to:

      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Wins\Partners\Push\partner IP address

3. Edit or Add Value name OnlyDynRecs as a type REG_DWORD. A data value of 1 causes dynamically registered records to replicate. A value of 0, the default, causes all records to be replicated.

NOTE: Configure this for every push partner.
