JSI Tip 1434. I can't set my video Refresh Frequency?

If your video driver won't support setting the Refresh Frequency, use Regedt32 to navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\HardwareProfiles\Current\System\CurrentControlSet\Services

Continue to navigate to <YourVideoDriverType>\Device0.

Double-click or Add Value name DefaultSettings.VRefresh, a type REG_DWORD, and set the data value to a Refresh Frequency (that can be supported), in hexadecimal.

Here are some common Refresh Frequencies:

70	46

You must shutdown and restart Windows NT.
