Here's an interesting Infographic sponsored by the Online Degree Programs and Notre Dame College. The latest breed of job seekers no longer have the company-man mentality, but instead believe that a game of leap frog is the best way to advance the professional career.
How do companies deal with this?
In the old days, job seekers were extremely happy to find a "good thing" that included salary, benefits, AND an advancing career path. It was more about the company interviewing a potential employee, but today the tables have turned with the job seeker interviewing the company instead. When did that change? Maybe I'm showing my age, but, based on the Infographic, I think things are out of kilter. We've landed on Bizzarro World and the real Superman is stuck in the Phantom Zone.
