How do I fly in Excel 97?

A. No this is not a performance improvement but actually flying :-) Excel has a neat Easter Egg which is really old but I've only just found it and thought it was better than work.

  1. Start Excel 97 (it does not work on Excel 2000)
  2. Open a new spreadsheet
  3. Press F5 (the goto command)
  4. Enter:
    X97:L97
    Click OK
  5. Press the tab key once to move to M97
  6. Press and hold the Ctrl and Shift key while left clicking the chart icon on the toolbar
  7. Cool! Use the mouse to steer and left and right mouse buttons to control speed.
