How can I customize the appearance of the OWA logon screen?

A. Because the Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5 version of Outlook Web Access (OWA) is implemented as a group of Active Server Pages (ASP), you can customize their appearance by editing the files in the exchsrvr\webdata subdirectory that matches your language. For example, if you're in the United States, try opening exchsrvr\webdata\usa\logon.asp, and you'll see the familiar yellow logon page. Feel free to change it as much as you like, but remember two things: The Microsoft Exchange version of OWA is completely rewritten (so don't expect your changes to either be necessary or operational when you migrate), and make sure to keep good backups of the webdata directory, because service pack installs might not preserve its contents.
