Q. How do I enable server groups in Configuration Manager 1606?
A. With the new Configuration Manager as a Service deployment model that updates regularly in sync with Windows 10 there are a number of features that are made available in a pre-release (experimental) fashion so they can be tested. One of these is server groups which is used for the patching of clusters by placing all nodes into a collection. To turn on features perform the following:
- Open the Configuration Manager console
- Open the Administration workspace
- Navigate to Cloud Services - Updates and Servicing - Features
- Select a feature that is not currently enabled and select the Turn on action
- Use the new feature
