The roster for the event, which will be held September 30 through October 4 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, is a "who's who" of thought leaders behind the industry's most popular information and professional education brands, including Paul Thurrott, Mary Jo Foley, Mark Russinovich, Miguel de Icaza, Mark Minasi, Rod Trent, Tony Redmond, Sean Deuby, Michael Otey, Chander Dhall, Scott Hillier, Dan Holme, Johan Arwidmark, and Tim Ford.

Windows IT Pro editors recently shared their top reasons for attending IT/Dev Connections.

"Our 2013 IT/Dev Connections program is the strongest we have ever presented," said Penton Technology Market Leader Peg Miller. "The conference is a natural extension of our online communities and allows our customers in-person access to the industry's experts. It capitalizes on the comprehensive scope of our information and education portfolio—Windows IT Pro, Paul Thurrott's SuperSite for Windows, SQL Server Pro, Dev Pro, SharePoint Pro, and myITforum—to connect the Microsoft IT and developer community face-to-face in a focused learning and networking environment."

IT/Dev Connections attracts systems administrators, network administrators, database administrators, software architects, systems analysts, and developers of all types from across the globe with the training they need to do their jobs better. Event educational sessions take attendees through the entire implementation process, looking at Microsoft technologies from all perspectives. The conference features all new content programming in today's most relevant topic areas, including HTML5, ASP.NET, Exchange, SQL Server, Windows, Windows Server, Visual Studio, Windows Azure, SharePoint, Cloud, and Office 365.

Conference programming is for three days October 1-3, 2013. Pre-conference workshops are Sept 30, 2013 and post-conference workshops are October 4, 2013. For more information visit the conference website.
