1. Start the registry editor (regedit.exe).
2. Navigate to the HKEY_CURRENT_USER Software\Microsoft Internet Explorer Toolbar registry key.
3. Open the Edit menu, and select New, Key.
4. Enter QuickComplete.
5. Under the new key, create a String value by entering New, String Value. Name it QuickComplete and press Enter.
6. Double-click the new value and set it to “www.%s.net” if you want .net to be the default extension, and click OK. You don’t have to restart IE for the change to take effect.
