Add a formatted AutoCorrect entry

If an AutoCorrect entry should have specific formatting, for example a logo typeface:

  1. Create and format text as it should appear.
  2. Select the text.
  3. Choose Tools → AutoCorrect Options and click the AutoCorrect tab.
  4. Enter a shorthand code or abbreviation in the Replace box.
  5. Your selection should appear in the With box.
  6. Click the Formatted text radio button.
  7. Click Add.

Plain text

  • No HTML tags allowed.
  • Web page addresses and e-mail addresses turn into links automatically.
  • Lines and paragraphs break automatically.
