Microsoft Ignite: What to expect and managing your time at the conference

Microsoft Ignite: What to expect and managing your time at the conference

If you are getting ready to brave the crowds in Atlanta later this month to attend Microsoft's annual Ignite conference then you need to consider two key things as the week gets closer.

One is knowing what to expect. This is the second year of Microsoft's combining of several conferences so crowds are much bigger so the environment is large and very hectic.

The second thing to consider is time management and how you will take in the conference. Will you fill up your schedule completely or do you have time blocked out for networking with your colleagues and other attendees?

Rick Claus and Joey Snow, aka Microsoft's Patch and Switch, are conference veterans and in a couple of videos over on Channel 9 they offer their tips on those two areas I mentioned above. It is well worth taking a few minutes of your prep time for Ignite and checking these two videos out (embedded below).
