We know that late last year Microsoft announced their plans to bring a collection of Head Mounted Displays (HMDs) as part of a partnership with Intel called Project Evo.
Earlier this week, we got a chance to see the five HMDs from Acer, Lenovo, Dell, HP, and 3glasses. Today, I saw even more options on the CES show floor.
With Project Evo and the Windows 10 Creators Update, users are going to begin to gain access to virtual reality at a price point that is much more reasonable compared to purchasing a high-end HMD like Oculus Rift and the corresponding high end computer to support it.
Right now the main use of virtual reality seems to gaming and experiences.
