Two Cloud Application Books Get Updated

Whether you've been following the updates to these two books or not, they are both a worthy read. Despite being targeted more toward developers, they provide good insight into how applications work in Windows Azure, combining Virtual Machines, Cloud Services, and SQL Database to round out a comprehensive Software as a Service (SaaS) offering. I know that many IT folks have been tasked with supporting and maintaining custom written in-house applications that can take advantage of being ported to the Microsoft Cloud. And, many IT organizations are now being tasked with developing Cloud migration and implementation plans for custom applications.

The books are free downloads from the Microsoft Download Center.  Here's the links:

Moving Applications to the Cloud, 3rd Edition

Developing Multi-tenant Applications for the Cloud, 3rd Edition
