This whitepaper is the result of a year-long initiative to better understand governance perceptions, planning, and execution. The intent of this effort is to understand the state of SharePoint initiatives today, and to document best practices to the community.
More than 1,000 SharePoint administrators & business professionals from around the world participated in this study.
There were four phases to the research, with each phase focusing on one facet of governance:
- Phase 1 focused on governance perceptions
- Phase 2 focused on governance roles and accountability
- Phase 3 focused on governance planning
- Phase 4 focused on organizational readiness
This whitepaper presents the combined results of each phase of the survey, but also includes analysis and commentary.
