When we first heard about cloud computing - we resisted. Many of us were worried about losing our value to our organization. Over time, we have realized how to utilize cloud computing to increase our value. Now, Microsoft is bringing cloud computing to government applications that would have historically never been allowed to move to the cloud.
In this webinar, IT Pro Today contributor, Eric Rux will break down the challenges and benefits of moving to the cloud. Also, John McAbel from Cisco and Claude Lorenson from Microsoft will join the discussion to explain how Azure Stack for Azure Government can address complex challenges faced by federal government technology customers today.
You'll learn more about:
- Why it's okay to hesitate in your move to the cloud, and how to overcome your doubts
- Why you're better off, in the long run, moving some applications and services
- How a hybrid approach may allow you to move some resources to the cloud while keeping sensitive resources locally on site
- How other government agencies are beginning their cloud transformation
